Chart | sectional : low enrte 29/30 |
Narrative:
Commercial chart has not updated their low en route charts and air carrier still hasn't put that information on our airport directory pages. En route to eau; we attempted to look up when the tower at eau opened. The commercial chart low en route chart still has eau listed as class east with no control tower. We could not find any information on when the tower opened; so we had to ask ATC. We also did not have this information in our airport directory page. We got the tower opening time from ATC. I have been saying for 5 yrs that we need to have more relevant information on our airport directory pages. It should include: 1) part time tower hours of operation. 2) FSS frequencys for when the tower is closed. 3) jetway codes for each airport with a jetway. Commercial chart makes an airport page for airlines that has this information. I think that we should either subscribe to this or make our airport page like commercial chart to include that information. Commercial chart also needs to update their 29/30 low en route chart to include the tower at eau. It has been open for over 6 months now.

Title: SF340 CREW REPORTS LACK OF INFORMATION ON THE COMPANY PROVIDED ARPT DIRECTORY PAGE AND THE FACT THAT A COMMERCIAL CHART MAKER DOES NOT HAVE CURRENT INFORMATION ON EAU TWR OPERATING HOURS.
Narrative: COMMERCIAL CHART HAS NOT UPDATED THEIR LOW ENRTE CHARTS AND ACR STILL HASN'T PUT THAT INFO ON OUR ARPT DIRECTORY PAGES. ENRTE TO EAU; WE ATTEMPTED TO LOOK UP WHEN THE TWR AT EAU OPENED. THE COMMERCIAL CHART LOW ENRTE CHART STILL HAS EAU LISTED AS CLASS E WITH NO CTL TWR. WE COULD NOT FIND ANY INFO ON WHEN THE TWR OPENED; SO WE HAD TO ASK ATC. WE ALSO DID NOT HAVE THIS INFO IN OUR ARPT DIRECTORY PAGE. WE GOT THE TWR OPENING TIME FROM ATC. I HAVE BEEN SAYING FOR 5 YRS THAT WE NEED TO HAVE MORE RELEVANT INFO ON OUR ARPT DIRECTORY PAGES. IT SHOULD INCLUDE: 1) PART TIME TWR HRS OF OP. 2) FSS FREQS FOR WHEN THE TWR IS CLOSED. 3) JETWAY CODES FOR EACH ARPT WITH A JETWAY. COMMERCIAL CHART MAKES AN ARPT PAGE FOR AIRLINES THAT HAS THIS INFO. I THINK THAT WE SHOULD EITHER SUBSCRIBE TO THIS OR MAKE OUR ARPT PAGE LIKE COMMERCIAL CHART TO INCLUDE THAT INFO. COMMERCIAL CHART ALSO NEEDS TO UPDATE THEIR 29/30 LOW ENRTE CHART TO INCLUDE THE TWR AT EAU. IT HAS BEEN OPEN FOR OVER 6 MONTHS NOW.
