Narrative:
The iad airport page has a lot of empty space on it. The ramp exit points are only depicted on the iad detailed page and not on the full airport diagram page. It would be extremely helpful if some of the empty space on the airport diagram could be used to show a small depiction of the ramp and the numbered ramp exit points. Look to the den airport diagram for an example of exactly what I'm talking about. It is much easier and probably safer to have to refer to only one taxi diagram instead of two when moving around on a busy airport.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: The IAD commercial airport diagram contains a large white space area which could be filled with the ramp information in order to increase flight crew situational awareness and safety.
