Narrative:
I was informed by management that aircraft r-hand overwing slide and compartment door were missing on arrival at ZZZ in may/xb/07. Aircraft was in ZZZ1 for b-chk may/xa/07. I was accomplishing work card; rearming of left and right overwing slides. After accomplishing rearming procedures of l-hand overwing slide; I proceeded to the r-hand overwing slide. I repositioned the disarm lever to the armed position while holding down the switches; and verified the switches were in the down position as per work card. While connecting the cannon plug to the battery pack I heard the squibs fire. I then deactivated the right overwing slide system. I initiated maintenance write-ups for 2 each door open actuators; door latch actuator and spoiler override actuator. After which I changed the 2 door open actuators and the spoiler override actuator. I reconnected the cannon plug to the spoiler override actuator and performed the squib test; which failed. I found the squib discharged on the new spoiler actuator. I verified the r-hand overwing slide system was deactivated. Then I aog'd the parts required: the status of the aircraft was given to next shift. Supplemental information from acn 741199: may/xa/07; during routine post check close up; a step was incorrectly accomplished and rw off wing door slide actuator discharged. I arrived to work an hour prior to new rw off wing door actuator being installed. I witnessed actuator/door installation -- all performed normal.

Title: A B767-300ER ACFT R OVERWING SLIDE/RAFT AND COMPARTMENT DOOR WERE MISSING UPON ARRIVAL; ONE DAY AFTER 'B' CHECK ACCOMPLISHED.
Narrative: I WAS INFORMED BY MGMNT THAT ACFT R-HAND OVERWING SLIDE AND COMPARTMENT DOOR WERE MISSING ON ARR AT ZZZ IN MAY/XB/07. ACFT WAS IN ZZZ1 FOR B-CHK MAY/XA/07. I WAS ACCOMPLISHING WORK CARD; REARMING OF L AND R OVERWING SLIDES. AFTER ACCOMPLISHING REARMING PROCS OF L-HAND OVERWING SLIDE; I PROCEEDED TO THE R-HAND OVERWING SLIDE. I REPOSITIONED THE DISARM LEVER TO THE ARMED POS WHILE HOLDING DOWN THE SWITCHES; AND VERIFIED THE SWITCHES WERE IN THE DOWN POS AS PER WORK CARD. WHILE CONNECTING THE CANNON PLUG TO THE BATTERY PACK I HEARD THE SQUIBS FIRE. I THEN DEACTIVATED THE R OVERWING SLIDE SYS. I INITIATED MAINT WRITE-UPS FOR 2 EACH DOOR OPEN ACTUATORS; DOOR LATCH ACTUATOR AND SPOILER OVERRIDE ACTUATOR. I VERIFIED THE R-HAND OVERWING SLIDE SYS WAS DEACTIVATED. THEN I AOG'D THE PARTS REQUIRED: THE STATUS OF THE ACFT WAS GIVEN TO NEXT SHIFT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 741199: MAY/XA/07; DURING ROUTINE POST CHK CLOSE UP; A STEP WAS INCORRECTLY ACCOMPLISHED AND RW OFF WING DOOR SLIDE ACTUATOR DISCHARGED. I ARRIVED TO WORK AN HR PRIOR TO NEW RW OFF WING DOOR ACTUATOR BEING INSTALLED. I WITNESSED ACTUATOR/DOOR INSTALLATION -- ALL PERFORMED NORMAL.
