Narrative:
Aircraft was in climbing phase of flight from 300 ft MSL to FL330; when an intruder code merged with X. After I stopped the aircraft climb to FL320; the intruder target then turned south and dropped off my scope.

Title: ZID CTLR DESCRIBED UNKNOWN 'INTRUDER' TARGET INCIDENT AT APPROX FL300; THE TARGET DROPPING SHORTLY AFTER BEING OBSERVED.
Narrative: ACFT WAS IN CLBING PHASE OF FLT FROM 300 FT MSL TO FL330; WHEN AN INTRUDER CODE MERGED WITH X. AFTER I STOPPED THE ACFT CLB TO FL320; THE INTRUDER TARGET THEN TURNED S AND DROPPED OFF MY SCOPE.
