Narrative:
After the 'flight attendant prepare for landing' I went toward the cabin from the galley to check on the passenger's safety. In the process I collected 2 agricultural forms and decided to hand it to the purser. On my way to the galley; a customer was up retrieving a laptop bag from the overhead bin when seat belt sign was illuminated. I told the passenger 'sir; seat belt sign is on.' he grabbed the bag while I handed the forms to the purser. On my way back to my jump seat the passenger who retrieved his bag left the bag in front of his seat. I immediately; after seeing the potential safety hazard; informed the passenger 'this bag is not safe here.' he handed the bag to me and I put it in the closet. After putting the bag safely in the closet I pursued returning to my jump seat. But the passenger stopped me again. He told me 'this bag isn't mine.' at that moment I felt unsafe to be out in the aisle so I told the passenger 'I have to return to my jump seat we are landing.' I walked towards the aft of the airplane. Every step I took was difficult due to turbulence. Approximately in the middle of the cabin I felt unsafe to walk any longer so I squatted and even without requesting assistance the passenger to my right and left held me down. The turbulence was constant but I felt it was worth getting to my jump seat so I stood up. As I was halfway up I made 1 step further and another turbulence forced me to squat again. This time I asked the next 2 passenger to my sides 'please could you hold me down.' the passenger held me firmly and protected my back by holding my shoulders and arms. After landing I headed to my jump seat buckled up. After the airplane stopped and the seat belt sign was off the purser came to PA and announced 'flight attendant disarm doors for arrival and xchk.' I got out of my jump seat and saw the disarming lever but reached out for the door handle. When I realized what I had done there was hissing sound while the door opened. The slide then was deployed and inflated fast. I was immediately concerned about anyone outside who could have been hurt. I have learned a valuable lesson and it shall never happen ever again.

Title: A B767 FA REPORTS DEPLOYING A DOOR SLIDE AFTER ARRIVAL BECAUSE OF CONFUSION FROM A PRE LNDG PAX PROBLEM; TURBULENCE; AND NOT ABLE TO REACH A JUMP SEAT FOR LNDG.
Narrative: AFTER THE 'FLT ATTENDANT PREPARE FOR LNDG' I WENT TOWARD THE CABIN FROM THE GALLEY TO CHK ON THE PAX'S SAFETY. I TOLD THE PAX 'SIR; SEAT BELT SIGN IS ON.' HE GRABBED THE BAG WHILE I HANDED THE FORMS TO THE PURSER. ON MY WAY BACK TO MY JUMP SEAT THE PAX WHO RETRIEVED HIS BAG LEFT THE BAG IN FRONT OF HIS SEAT. I IMMEDIATELY; AFTER SEEING THE POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARD; INFORMED THE PAX 'THIS BAG IS NOT SAFE HERE.' HE HANDED THE BAG TO ME AND I PUT IT IN THE CLOSET. AFTER PUTTING THE BAG SAFELY IN THE CLOSET I PURSUED RETURNING TO MY JUMP SEAT. BUT THE PAX STOPPED ME AGAIN. HE TOLD ME 'THIS BAG ISN'T MINE.' AT THAT MOMENT I FELT UNSAFE TO BE OUT IN THE AISLE SO I TOLD THE PAX 'I HAVE TO RETURN TO MY JUMP SEAT WE ARE LNDG.' I WALKED TOWARDS THE AFT OF THE AIRPLANE. EVERY STEP I TOOK WAS DIFFICULT DUE TO TURB. APPROX IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CABIN I FELT UNSAFE TO WALK ANY LONGER SO I SQUATTED AND EVEN WITHOUT REQUESTING ASSISTANCE THE PAX TO MY R AND L HELD ME DOWN. THE TURB WAS CONSTANT BUT I FELT IT WAS WORTH GETTING TO MY JUMP SEAT SO I STOOD UP. AS I WAS HALFWAY UP I MADE 1 STEP FURTHER AND ANOTHER TURB FORCED ME TO SQUAT AGAIN. THIS TIME I ASKED THE NEXT 2 PAX TO MY SIDES 'PLEASE COULD YOU HOLD ME DOWN.' THE PAX HELD ME FIRMLY AND PROTECTED MY BACK BY HOLDING MY SHOULDERS AND ARMS. AFTER LNDG I HEADED TO MY JUMP SEAT BUCKLED UP. AFTER THE AIRPLANE STOPPED AND THE SEAT BELT SIGN WAS OFF THE PURSER CAME TO PA AND ANNOUNCED 'FLT ATTENDANT DISARM DOORS FOR ARR AND XCHK.' I GOT OUT OF MY JUMP SEAT AND SAW THE DISARMING LEVER BUT REACHED OUT FOR THE DOOR HANDLE.
