Narrative:
On the seavu one arrival into lax we were initially assigned runway 25L. Our FMS was programmed for this runway at least 2 hours out. Shortly before luvyn intersection we were given a runway change to runway 24R. At this point; we reprogrammed the FMS for this change and I checked the new fixes. All appeared ok. At luvyn intersection; the FMS steered the airplane towards krain intersection instead of shurl. ATC noticed and gave us a 10 degree heading change. He asked us which runway we were set up for. We said 24R but our FMS had not taken the change. We were rushed while doing the change. Time was a factor. We even had the change pre programmed into route 2.
