Narrative:

On takeoff roll I noticed my sunglasses fogging up and a slight haze developing in the cockpit. Appeared to be possible smoke. This was verified by the first officer. Takeoff was aborted at approximately 90 KTS. On rollout communication was established with flight attendants. They advised smoke in the cabin but was rapidly dissipating. Decision was made not to evacuate/evacuation at this time. ATC advised and requested emergency equipment. Had no cockpit indications of fire. Right engine shut down as a precaution. Equipment advised small amount of residual smoke from right engine. Checked with flight attendants and they advised smoke was almost gone. Decision was made to return to the gate with fire department escort. Supplemental information from acn 756512: during the brief with the captain a couple maintenance items were mentioned. A high stage bleed valve was deferred and a history of high oil consumption in the right engine. During the takeoff roll I noticed smoke in the cockpit and called for an abort. The captain took controls and initiated the abort at around 90 KTS. Rejected takeoff kicked momentarily in and was kicked off and we rolled to a slow roll off the runway. Tower was notified of the abort and the emergency equipment was called. We came to a stop on taxiway B and the fire department did a drive around and noticed some smoke (a small amount) coming from the right engine. We were advised it was safe to taxi to the gate. During the taxi in we shut down the right engine. During the abort dialog and communication was made with the cabin crew to determine if an evacuate/evacuation was necessary and it was determined that the smoke was dissipating.
