Narrative:
Climb out dca vectored southeast for space/separation at swann intersection. ATC put us behind a heavy jet by at least 5 miles; same route. During climb past (northeast) swann; encountered wake. Noted one target on TCAS at 12 mile range also had visual during climb. I believe it was the same aircraft. Aircraft rolled left/right 20 degrees. Autoplt disconnected recovered -- autoplt on. Remainder of flight normal; no damage.
