Narrative:
On approach to ZZZ in icing conditions; received wing anti-ice fail message on EICAS. Ran checklist which told us to increase thrust. We were assigned speed of 180 KTS. While running checklist; our indicated airspeed increased to 200 KIAS. ATC questioned us and we told them we had an anti-ice problem and that was the reason for the speed deviation. ATC turned us off the localizer because we were catching up to the aircraft in front of us. Previously; we reported to ATC we were in light icing and we had an anti-ice problem. Apparently; they didn't tell the next frequency. We were vectored back on the localizer with no further incident.

Title: AN EMB135 WING ANTI-ICE FAIL PROCEDURE CALLED FOR INCREASED THRUST CAUSING A SPD DEV ON APCH. ATC DISCONTINUED IMC APCH WITH A BREAKOUT VECTOR.
