Narrative:

On takeoff on sod runway a swerve developed; which worsened and became a ground loop. The aircraft stopped with left gear on sod surface; right gear collapsed; no propeller strike. Right gear had departed sod surface into plowed ridge of cornfield edge and right wing touched. Walking field after incident; I noted left wheel had left imprint on a ridge in surface apparently causing initial swerve. It had rained the previous day.
