Narrative:
In cruise flight we suffered a severe noise and vibration from the #2 engine. We lost vibration information and retarded the #2 thrust lever. The captain told me to declare an emergency; and he had the controls. We were currently about 80 NM northwest of ZZZ1 about the 330 degree radial from the abc VOR. The captain started the descent while I declared an emergency with center. We got immediately cleared for a left turn direct ZZZ and to descend to FL250. The captain asked me to perform the abnormal QRH procedures for engine vibration. The captain continued to work with center and flying while I performed the fan vibration procedures; followed by the abnormal single engine operations procedures; followed by abnormal single engine approach procedures -- all per the crj QRH manual. We secured the #2 engine and made a single engine approach and landing at ZZZ1.

Title: A CRJ200 CREW REPORTS SEVERE ENG VIBRATION CRUISING AT FL320. AN EMER WAS DECLARED WITH A LNDG AT NEARBY SUITABLE FIELD WITH THE ENG SHUT DOWN.
Narrative: IN CRUISE FLT WE SUFFERED A SEVERE NOISE AND VIBRATION FROM THE #2 ENG. WE LOST VIBRATION INFO AND RETARDED THE #2 THRUST LEVER. THE CAPT TOLD ME TO DECLARE AN EMER; AND HE HAD THE CTLS. WE WERE CURRENTLY ABOUT 80 NM NW OF ZZZ1 ABOUT THE 330 DEG RADIAL FROM THE ABC VOR. THE CAPT STARTED THE DSCNT WHILE I DECLARED AN EMER WITH CTR. WE GOT IMMEDIATELY CLRED FOR A L TURN DIRECT ZZZ AND TO DSND TO FL250. THE CAPT ASKED ME TO PERFORM THE ABNORMAL QRH PROCS FOR ENG VIBRATION. THE CAPT CONTINUED TO WORK WITH CTR AND FLYING WHILE I PERFORMED THE FAN VIBRATION PROCS; FOLLOWED BY THE ABNORMAL SINGLE ENG OPS PROCS; FOLLOWED BY ABNORMAL SINGLE ENG APCH PROCS -- ALL PER THE CRJ QRH MANUAL. WE SECURED THE #2 ENG AND MADE A SINGLE ENG APCH AND LNDG AT ZZZ1.
