Narrative:
Cleared to depart teb runway 24 teb 5 departure. After takeoff I climbed to 1500 ft and turned right to a heading of 280 degrees. While leveling off in the turn the right seat pilot selected 'navigation;' which had already been selected; and so the flight director went to 'rol' mode. I was momentarily distraction reselecting the flight director source and overshot my 1500 ft by 150 ft. I immediately initiated a descent back to 1500 ft. There was no conflict that I was made aware of; and no altitude alerter. Crew coordination may have been a factor in this issue.
