Narrative:
I have previously reported the fact that at the subject facility; the erids system was not current -- specifically that invalid approach plates were loaded. Once reported to management; it took 4 days to correct. I'm now reporting that the system still does not appear to be current. I received a flight plan for an aircraft using 'XXX' as the call sign. Not recognizing it; I checked the erids -- no entry. Thinking it might be company X (a call sign we see frequently); that someone had incorrectly entered; I searched erids and found 2 entries: 'company X' and 'company Y.' I reported this to my supervisor who; after checking the print version of the contractions order; found a new company using the same name as their telephony and 'XXX' as the call sign for flight data processing. We've been told that erids will be 'the' source for such information. It was my understanding that the system would be updated automatically. Yet again; the FAA has failed to comply with their own regulations and requirements.

Title: ZFW CTLR EXPRESSED CONCERN THAT FACILITY IS NOT UPDATING INFO ON ERIDS EQUIP; CALL SIGN ID REFERENCED IN THIS EVENT.
Narrative: I HAVE PREVIOUSLY RPTED THE FACT THAT AT THE SUBJECT FACILITY; THE ERIDS SYS WAS NOT CURRENT -- SPECIFICALLY THAT INVALID APCH PLATES WERE LOADED. ONCE RPTED TO MGMNT; IT TOOK 4 DAYS TO CORRECT. I'M NOW RPTING THAT THE SYS STILL DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE CURRENT. I RECEIVED A FLT PLAN FOR AN ACFT USING 'XXX' AS THE CALL SIGN. NOT RECOGNIZING IT; I CHKED THE ERIDS -- NO ENTRY. THINKING IT MIGHT BE COMPANY X (A CALL SIGN WE SEE FREQUENTLY); THAT SOMEONE HAD INCORRECTLY ENTERED; I SEARCHED ERIDS AND FOUND 2 ENTRIES: 'COMPANY X' AND 'COMPANY Y.' I RPTED THIS TO MY SUPVR WHO; AFTER CHKING THE PRINT VERSION OF THE CONTRACTIONS ORDER; FOUND A NEW COMPANY USING THE SAME NAME AS THEIR TELEPHONY AND 'XXX' AS THE CALL SIGN FOR FLT DATA PROCESSING.
