Narrative:
We were cleared into position and hold on runway 19R; the B737 which had just landed; was still rolling out and had not cleared the runway. While we were holding in position; tower reported our pending departure to rj traffic on final. While we were holding in position; tower communicated with a helicopter operating southeast of the departure path at 500 ft AGL; and advised us of that traffic. While we were holding in position; tower made 1 or more xmissions to GA aircraft. Tower then reported to us that the rj traffic on final was now at 2 mi; we responded that we had not received takeoff clearance. Tower canceled our takeoff clearance (which we had never received) and directed the rj on final to go around. We were cleared for takeoff several mins late; after rj; executing go around; had cleared the departure path.
