Narrative:
Chain of events: 1) possibly occurred from problem with APU; 2) smoke and fumes filled cabin; 3) immediate return to airport. Human performance: 1) smoke and fumes filled cabin; 2) immediately informed cockpit; 3) PA to passenger -- remain calm; return to airport; 4) flight attendant suffered smoke; fume inhalation; blurred vision; nausea. Inaction: should have used oxygen immediately!

Title: A MD80 FLT ATTENDANT REPORTS SMOKE AND FUMES IN CABIN AFTER TKOF. FLT CREW DID AN EMER RETURN TO LAND. FLT ATTENDANTS HAD VISION PROBLEMS AND NAUSEA FROM SMOKE AND FUMES.
Narrative: CHAIN OF EVENTS: 1) POSSIBLY OCCURRED FROM PROB WITH APU; 2) SMOKE AND FUMES FILLED CABIN; 3) IMMEDIATE RETURN TO ARPT. HUMAN PERFORMANCE: 1) SMOKE AND FUMES FILLED CABIN; 2) IMMEDIATELY INFORMED COCKPIT; 3) PA TO PAX -- REMAIN CALM; RETURN TO ARPT; 4) FLT ATTENDANT SUFFERED SMOKE; FUME INHALATION; BLURRED VISION; NAUSEA.
