Narrative:
Rejected takeoff on runway. The captain exercised emergency authority/authorized; controls were xferred immediately. I contacted the tower once the aircraft came to a stop to notify of rejected takeoff. Called maintenance; next. Aircraft returned to gate and deplaned. #2 registered 902 degrees C during the takeoff roll at approximately 125 KIAS.
