Narrative:

While flying with another commercial pilot in his personal aircraft; a gear-up landing occurred at ZZZ. The owner/pilot was flying and was describing how he was going to perform a soft field landing. During this he failed to extend the gear or perform a landing checklist. The aircraft made a gear-up landing on the runway centerline with the damage occurring to the belly and propeller of the aircraft. At no time during the entire incident did landing gear horn sound.

Title: PASSENGER; ALSO A QUALIFIED PLT; ABOARD C210 REPORTS THE PIC FAILED TO EXTEND THE LNDG GEAR DURING AN APCH AND SIMULATED SOFT FIELD LNDG. GEAR UP LNDG ENSUES.

Narrative: WHILE FLYING WITH ANOTHER COMMERCIAL PLT IN HIS PERSONAL ACFT; A GEAR-UP LNDG OCCURRED AT ZZZ. THE OWNER/PLT WAS FLYING AND WAS DESCRIBING HOW HE WAS GOING TO PERFORM A SOFT FIELD LNDG. DURING THIS HE FAILED TO EXTEND THE GEAR OR PERFORM A LNDG CHKLIST. THE ACFT MADE A GEAR-UP LNDG ON THE RWY CTRLINE WITH THE DAMAGE OCCURRING TO THE BELLY AND PROP OF THE ACFT. AT NO TIME DURING THE ENTIRE INCIDENT DID LNDG GEAR HORN SOUND.
