Narrative:
I am filing this report in response to the harassment policy just issued by the system chief pilot demanding that all B737-300 and A320 first officers have a doctor's note when on sick list. The B737-200 and A320 first officers are being singled out in this policy. I am being intimidated and pressured to fly sick. If I am sick I will not fly. Period. However; I feel pressure to fly sick because the company may choose to not pay me when ill. The captains are not subject to this new policy. First officers on other fleets are not subject to this policy. I am the subject of blatant harassment by air carrier management. Again I say; I will not fly sick. But again; I feel pressure by air carrier management to do so.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: Pilot states that the FAR's require a pilot not work if ill. His air carrier's doctor sick note requirement is harassment and forcing pilots to fly sick.
