Narrative:
On takeoff during flap retraction; we had a flap indication failure as per amber cas message flaps fail. ATC was notified and we were given delayed vectors to ZZZ. We accomplished the flaps fail abnormal checklist. After completion of the checklist we advised ATC we were ready to land at ZZZ. On first approach we executed a go around. On second approach we landed uneventfully. After landing at ZZZ; maintenance control was notified to inspect the aircraft.
