Narrative:
On climb out from ZZZ; experienced electrical problems (left generator off/aircraft xtie lockout). Started APU while initiating QRH procedures. Returned to ZZZ with uneventful landing. No damage to aircraft. No harm to crew or passenger. Maintenance took aircraft OTS due to history of electrical problems.
