Narrative:
Left system hydraulic quantity was within limits at pushback. At cruise hydraulic quantity decreased to 4 and low quantity light came on. Followed QRH procedures. During approach into ZZZ; left hydraulic system pressure was unrecoverable. Complied with QRH. Declared emergency and landed. One passenger requested the paramedics for medical issues.
