Narrative:

We were dispatched to ZZZ where there were rain and storms. Convective SIGMET 1E was valid for 'DMSH6 area of ts moving ltl. Tops to FL430.' convective SIGMET 3E was also valid; stating the same but a larger area of coverage. 2 things concern us about our release: the route into convective area and fuel load. 1) all airlines accept these rtes; even our own pilots. We are expected to fly it or be reprimanded. Shouldn't the FAA stop all rtes through convective SIGMET areas? 2) the fuel was a little 'low' but increasing fuel loads these days bring reprisals from dispatch and management. We need to clarify pilot's decision making authority/authorized.
