Narrative:
Taxied south along parallel runway/taxiway for takeoff on runway 35R. Clrd for takeoff when approaching hold short line. 'Took it on the roll' down 4 vice 35R. No conflict resulted. Weights and speed legal for the runway. Error noticed while still on the ground, takeoff considered safer than abt. Some distraction in the cockpit obtaining final load figures. A great deal of attention from both pilots outside since small aircraft's were earlier observed practicing touch and go lndgs on 35L. Heading bugs were set for runway heading (350 degrees) and this is what first indicated the error to me. Checklists, performance calculations were being done correctly and carefully, departure procedures reviewed. A lot of administrative tasks combined with an unfamiliar airport resulted in a situation which could have obviously been much more hazardous.

Title: MLG CLEARED TKOF ON 1 OF 2 INTERSECTING RWYS, TKOF ON THE WRONG ONE.
Narrative: TAXIED S ALONG PARALLEL RWY/TXWY FOR TKOF ON RWY 35R. CLRD FOR TKOF WHEN APCHING HOLD SHORT LINE. 'TOOK IT ON THE ROLL' DOWN 4 VICE 35R. NO CONFLICT RESULTED. WTS AND SPD LEGAL FOR THE RWY. ERROR NOTICED WHILE STILL ON THE GND, TKOF CONSIDERED SAFER THAN ABT. SOME DISTR IN THE COCKPIT OBTAINING FINAL LOAD FIGURES. A GREAT DEAL OF ATTN FROM BOTH PLTS OUTSIDE SINCE SMA'S WERE EARLIER OBSERVED PRACTICING TOUCH AND GO LNDGS ON 35L. HDG BUGS WERE SET FOR RWY HDG (350 DEGS) AND THIS IS WHAT FIRST INDICATED THE ERROR TO ME. CHKLISTS, PERFORMANCE CALCULATIONS WERE BEING DONE CORRECTLY AND CAREFULLY, DEP PROCS REVIEWED. A LOT OF ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS COMBINED WITH AN UNFAMILIAR ARPT RESULTED IN A SITUATION WHICH COULD HAVE OBVIOUSLY BEEN MUCH MORE HAZARDOUS.
