Narrative:
While being marshaled into gate; I noticed the ground AC hose was in the safety zone and the #1 eng ingestion zone as well. I came to a halt until it was moved as far as they could get it out of the way. Due to piled snow that was on the safety zone line itself; ZZZ ground operations was really not able to sufficiently get the hose carriage out of the safety zone; nor could the jetway be moved far enough back to get the hose carriage to be clear. Four legs; four cities; and not one of them can seem to provide a clear safety zone and follow procedures. This is an accident in waiting and it needs to be fixed before we destroy another engine or worse yet; get someone killed.
