Narrative:
This event was driven by an engineering order (eo); that we accomplished to make an access panel; to service the ditching dam nitrogen reservoir. I performed the dado panel eo on a dhc-8-300. I removed and installed seat 10AC. This event took place at our maintenance base in april 2009. I was the only individual working on this project. It was reported that seat 10AC came out of the seat track. No injuries were reported. From my understanding; the proper managers; supervisors and safety office were notified. I was notified by the safety office and then called my base manager and told him.
Original NASA ASRS Text
