Narrative:

Possible minimal aircraft separation on the ground between landed aircraft clearing runway and following landing aircraft. After normal approach and landing; possible brake malfunction caused abrupt and rapid deceleration. Tower instructed us to hold short of parallel runway and we acknowledged. After exiting runway; aircraft was momentarily stopped as we discussed the abnormal brake response. Our position where we momentarily stopped may have provided only minimal safe distance from landing runway. At this time; tower made a transmission; but was blocked. Again; tower transmitted for us to continue our taxi; as additional aircraft were landing. We complied with tower instructions. We did not observe any conflict from our vantage point. Crew made logbook write-up of abnormal brake response.
