Narrative:
We were unable to enter hammy (D 10.9 itfe) in the FMC database for mco ILS runway 18R. Repeated attempts to enter hammy resulted in a 'not in database' type message. Recheck to see if hammy can be entered into the FMC database in the same aircraft and possibly other aircraft. If hammy cannot be entered into the FMC database; there may be a problem with this particular waypoint that may need to be addressed.

Title: B737-700 Captain reported the inability to enter HAMMY waypoint on the ILS 18R at MCO into the FMC and flight plan. A 'not in data base' alert was displayed when attempted.
Narrative: We were unable to enter HAMMY (D 10.9 ITFE) in the FMC database for MCO ILS Runway 18R. Repeated attempts to enter HAMMY resulted in a 'not in database' type message. Recheck to see if HAMMY can be entered into the FMC database in the same aircraft and possibly other aircraft.
