Narrative:
On climb out captain called me on the phone and said hydraulics on the aircraft were showing inoperative and that we were turning around to land back at departure airport. He said we needed to run our planned emergency checklist. I communicated all information to crew and we performed our checklist to a specific step. The captain said prepare for landing while we were in the middle of our last step. Passengers and crew remained calm we landed without evacuation; sat on the taxiway for about 10 minutes and then taxied to the gate.
