Climbing through FL280 the (right oil strainer clogging) light came on. We followed QRH and declared an emergency; and returned to our departure airport and made an overweight landing.

Title: MD80 First Officer experienced oil strainer clogging light during climb. An emergency was declared and the flight returns to departure airport.
