Narrative:
On visual approach to runway 25L. Lax we were assigned 210 KIAS or greater to hunda. To slow after hunda the captain went above the glideslope; gear down to configure on speed but still high. We received a non-essential cabin call at about this time. We were high on the slope; lowered the nose and heard 'sink rate; sink rate' twice. I advised the captain to make a go-around; he elected to land. He touched down 2700 ft down the runway and was able to safely exit the runway at H8 highspeed.
