STAR FLCON3 arrival direct doevr we experienced wake turbulence and loss of about 150'. The autopilot was disconnected and we climbed back up. We requested a right off course track on the arrival after doevr. ATC told us we can adjust off course to the right for wake turbulence avoidance. ATC than came back and said that we were off course to the right and vectored another aircraft before us behind the 757. We were than given a turn to heading 180 for 8L.
