Narrative:

We were given clearance to fly ILS 16 localizer inbound maintain 5000' to leosa intersection, which is 10.4 DME. At approximately 12 DME at 5000' on the localizer, we switched controllers and were told to immediately turn to 090 degrees and increase our descent, that we had traffic at 2 O'clock and 2 mi. We were then told to turn left to 190 degrees, descend through 3000', that our previous clearance was void.
