Narrative:
Due to unusual circumstances; we pulled up to the gate with both engines running. Prior to shutting down the #2 engine (right); the forward cargo door was opened. It was dark and rainy; the ramp service person who opened that door must have been dangerously close to the operating engine intake. This could have had disastrous results up to and including a fatality. Suggest retraining ramp personnel regarding safety.
