Narrative:
I was 'B' flight attendant. I did a thorough preflight of all of the emergency equipment. After we departed it was brought to my attention by the 'D' flight attendant that some of the flashlights were not blinking; indicating a less than full battery charge. This was reported to the 'a' flight attendant who advised the captain with a cabin discrepancy form.

Title: Two B737 flight attendants report that three of the aircraft's four flashlights were removed; used and installed upside down so that they did not recharge. The dead flashlights were discovered in flight after having been missed on the preflight inspection.
Narrative: I was 'B' Flight Attendant. I did a thorough preflight of all of the emergency equipment.
