Narrative:
Aircraft X was climbing out of mkt to new. R17 pointed the aircraft out to me climbing through and above my airspace. I replied point out approved. Subsequently; chicago high; waterloo; R71; called and asked if I worked aircraft X. I replied no. The controller said he was expecting a call to approve the climb into his airspace; and received none. I called over the controller in charge and ask him to look into this. Recommendation; go over the order again to make sure all are on the same page.
