Narrative:
While accomplishing an engineering order (eo) and researching the procedure for rigging the doors; I found a discrepancy on the forward (fwd) cargo door; it was determined that the maintenance manual (MM) had an error. Embraer emb-190 MM chapter 52-31-00 is dedicated to the fwd cargo door. Pages 531 and 532 shows rig dimensions and they are apparently for the aft cargo door and are listed as such on the bottom of the pages. If these dimensions are incorrect; it is likely that all aircraft that have had this modification (mod) are rigged incorrectly. I notified my supervisor of the problem and informed him that I felt immediate action should be taken to determine if other aircraft are in-service with the doors improperly rigged. The picture is of fwd cargo door roller assembly; all looks to be correct but pages are identified wrong. Supervisor contacted the engineering department. Need to check maintenance manual and make necessary changes.
