Narrative:

On landing/touchdown rollout with a 90 degree 15 knot gust to 20 knot+ crosswind my aircraft exited the runway to the left and went into the grass. During touchdown a gust lifted the left wing of my plane; and while getting the left wing and tire back down on the ground the aircraft drifted left. After entering the grass and planting the tail wheel; I was able to regain control of the aircraft. A blue taxi light was struck breaking its lens. No other damage was observed to airport property. No damage was noted on my aircraft. It is still unknown which part of my aircraft struck the light. I called the tower to report the taxiway light damage. The local FSDO came out to inspect my credentials and aircraft for damage- none noted. On final approach I did not request winds nor did tower give me a wind advisory. After my landing; the airport switched operations to a runway directly into the wind. The aircraft's speed was too slow for a safe go-around so I was committed to the landing. This situation could have been corrected by requesting the wind conditions and choosing a more favorable runway.
