Narrative:
Air carrier X was a flash through to ZLC sector 26 that went unsuccessful. Air carrier Y was an oma arrival that stayed high for the weather. ZKC 26 apreqed the decent on air carrier Y reference the air carrier X traffic. I verified they had radar on air carrier X and told them I would descent air carrier Y reference the air carrier X traffic. When air carrier Y checked on I descended him to FL320; he read back FL220 which I missed. Shortly after I issued him FL310; air carrier X was out of FL300; which he read back. I called traffic and told air carrier Y to expect lower reference the traffic. He said something that I did not understand at the time. Shortly after I noticed the air carrier Y's altitude at FL305 and asked him to say altitude. He read back that he was climbing to FL310. It did not appear that separation was lost. Later I listened to the recorded tape and heard the read back of FL220 when I had issued FL320. Recommendation; pay attention the read backs.
