Autopilot did not capture 1300 ft on dalton departure. Pilot disengaged autopilot and corrected altitude. Total deviation was 200 ft higher then 1300 ft. No conflicts.

Title: CE525 Captain reports exceeding 1300 feet on the Dalton departure from TEB when the auto pilot fails to capture the altitude as programed.
Narrative: Autopilot did not capture 1300 FT on DALTON Departure. Pilot disengaged autopilot and corrected altitude. Total deviation was 200 FT higher then 1300 FT. No conflicts.
