Narrative:
Approached airport and lowered anphib wheels and couldn't get right front lock light to clear. Flew to nearby lake and landed to check gear operation. Water temperature was 50 F so I had to taxi to boat ramp to check float wiring. Found wire had pulled from end. Repaired wire; cycled gear and taxied out and took off. Boat ramp only had one boat near and all went very safe.
