Narrative:
Was departing teb on the ruudy 2 departure. Off of teb autopilot was on and coupled for RNAV departure; but it did not turn on course. Was given a heading by ATC to climb to 6;000 ft in moderate turbulence; got an updraft pushed us up to 6;500 ft. Was correcting altitude when ATC called; maybe if speed for departures was reduced it might help.
