Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A Shop Mechanic attempted to stop the robbing of parts from damaged A320 reverser halves that were painted 'SCRAPPED' in red lettering. The reverser halves were not quarantined; the Lead would not stop and the Supervisor said there was nothing he could do. Mechanic was later harshly questioned by two supervisors about his role in alerting shop mechanics about the illegal practice.
