Narrative:

While at ramp and after aborted flight due to right fuel cap coming loose on takeoff; on subsequent right engine start; apparently fuel fumes ignited for approximately 2-3 seconds causing damage to the right wing. Cause of this occurrence could have been prevented by a better designed locking mechanism for the beechcraft type fuel caps.

Title: After returning to field to reinstall a right wing Fuel Tank Cap that had come off at about 700 feet; a single Pilot of a Beech Baron 58 aircraft reports that on the subsequent right engine start; apparently fuel fumes ignited for 2-3 seconds; causing damage outboard of the engine. The right wing upper and lower skin and the right aileron were deformed.
