Narrative:
Flight had taxied into gate at lga. The securing checklist was accomplished and the captain went to the cabin door to say goodbye to the passenger. I remained in the cockpit to get the departure clearance for the next leg. I heard a metallic noise and looked to my left and observed that the jetway appeared to have shifted position and was well forward of its normal position. I left the cockpit and went to the passenger door and observed that the jetway had shifted so that the left edge of the jetway was wedged against the cabin door. At that time I immediately returned to the cockpit and confirmed that the parking brake knob was in fact pulled out (indicating it was set). We were advised that the aircraft had allegedly rolled aft to cause the incident. The only damage was to a minor part on the door and it was quickly replaced. I do recall that the captain had set the parking brakes when he had stopped the aircraft and I did not see the 'chocks in' signal given to us.

Title: JETWAY SHIFTED AND WEDGED AGAINST PARKED ACFT. MINOR DAMAGE.
Narrative: FLT HAD TAXIED INTO GATE AT LGA. THE SECURING CHKLIST WAS ACCOMPLISHED AND THE CAPT WENT TO THE CABIN DOOR TO SAY GOODBYE TO THE PAX. I REMAINED IN THE COCKPIT TO GET THE DEP CLRNC FOR THE NEXT LEG. I HEARD A METALLIC NOISE AND LOOKED TO MY LEFT AND OBSERVED THAT THE JETWAY APPEARED TO HAVE SHIFTED POS AND WAS WELL FORWARD OF ITS NORMAL POS. I LEFT THE COCKPIT AND WENT TO THE PAX DOOR AND OBSERVED THAT THE JETWAY HAD SHIFTED SO THAT THE LEFT EDGE OF THE JETWAY WAS WEDGED AGAINST THE CABIN DOOR. AT THAT TIME I IMMEDIATELY RETURNED TO THE COCKPIT AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARKING BRAKE KNOB WAS IN FACT PULLED OUT (INDICATING IT WAS SET). WE WERE ADVISED THAT THE ACFT HAD ALLEGEDLY ROLLED AFT TO CAUSE THE INCIDENT. THE ONLY DAMAGE WAS TO A MINOR PART ON THE DOOR AND IT WAS QUICKLY REPLACED. I DO RECALL THAT THE CAPT HAD SET THE PARKING BRAKES WHEN HE HAD STOPPED THE ACFT AND I DID NOT SEE THE 'CHOCKS IN' SIGNAL GIVEN TO US.
