Narrative:
At cruise; FL320 approximately 100 NM from departure airport; the right engine failed. We declared an emergency and made a right turn direct to departure airport. We ran the engine fire/damage/separation checklist. N2-0; N1-17%; oil pressure 0; all quantities normal. Landed overweight 130;000 pounds uneventfully. The emergency crews looked over the aircraft and saw no damage so we taxied to the gate.
