Narrative:
At mdw, marshalling out of gate (no aircraft on next gate). Jetway was removed. Everything was normal. Later, about 1/4 into turn, I heard a crunch and applied the brakes as marshaller was giving stop signal. Passengers were deplaned through air stairs about 15 minutes later and directed to the next cle flight.
