Narrative:
After normal landing and rollout [we] experienced violent shuddering of entire aircraft. Suspected a blown tire or possible brake seizure. Cleared runway and stopped aircraft. Called for arff assistance; contacted operations for maintenance inspection. After thorough inspection; deemed aircraft safe for taxi. Continued to gate. Flight was concluded without further incident. Aircraft removed from service.

Title: An MD80 flight crew reported violent shuddering vibration during braking on rollout. They asked for ARFF to check the aircraft out; aircraft was deemed safe for taxi; and they continued to the gate.
