Narrative:
During climb, using right autoplt commanded by first officer FMC, in flight level change mode, flight went through the preset 28000' level off altitude by 400+'. Returned to 28000'. Left FMC showed the proper indications in all modes. The first officer FMC showed improper indications in all modes except vertical navigation. Reported the problem to ATC, wrote the problem up in the aircraft logbook.
