Narrative:
Eram - operations at salt lake city center; I observed the aircraft approach the northeast corner of sector 16. Immediately I called zlu and advised them that a point out was approved as I was not aware of the aircraft so to allow the aircraft to enter my airspace and then sort out who it was. This area is fairly tight on our map against the rubber so I may have missed the aircraft from my scan originally. The zlu controller gave me a 'roger' and we moved on. This is a situation that is usually a 'flash through' to adjacent sector 47. Eram failed; and to take it farther; sector 47 never received a call for a hand off or point out until I back coordinated to verify at least they got a point out. Stop this unsafe eram training with real people on real aircraft until we get the testing done.
