Narrative:
Msp control tower told us to luaw [line up and wait] on runway 30L; which we did. Then the tower told a commuter he was cleared to land; aircraft taking off and aircraft in position on the runway. We were in position for a minute or two as the tower cleared a tug and aircraft in tow to cross the runway--and then silence. I was getting uneasy watching the TCAS display showing an aircraft behind at 500 then 400 ft at which time I heard the commuter say: 'going around.' I turned sideways on the runway and then the tower came on and told us to taxi off the runway. It seemed like there was a communication blackout for a minute. No stuck mike heard.
